1. The "Just a Friend" Promise

We built Frnd because we were tired of apps that wanted to know everything about us. We don't want to know everything about you. We just want to hang out.

2. Data Collection (or lack thereof)

We do not collect personal data for the purpose of selling it to third parties. We don't build a profile of your psychological state to serve you better ads. We don't track your eye movements.

Any data we do process is strictly for the purpose of making the conversation work. If you tell us your name, we might remember it so we don't call you "User 492".

3. No Clinical Analysis

As stated on our home page, Frnd is not a therapist, a doctor, or a licensed professional. We do not diagnose, treat, or analyze. If you are in crisis, please contact professional emergency services.

4. Cookies

We might use a cookie or two just to keep you logged in or remember your theme preference. We don't use creepy tracking cookies that follow you around the internet.

5. Changes

If we ever decide to become evil and start selling your data, we'll update this page. But we probably won't, because that sounds like a lot of paperwork.
